Feeding Multitudes

My neighborhood street kebab vendor never fails to greet customers with a contagious smile. A man on a mission, he derives no greater pleasure than knowing his home country’s signature dish is gaining popularity among Tokyo’s food-crazed populace. From Roppongi to Nishiazabu, their franchise’s expansion is showing no signs of fatigue. Much like our hero. Three years after leaving his hometown of Istanbul, he’s still the same guy possessed with a hunger to feed Tokyo’s multitudes.
