“I became a vegan two years ago. I think I must have lost around six kilos in the first six months. Not only that, I have more energy now than I ever did before, contrary to what many people think. I’m originally from the Philippines, where meat is almost on every dish. But I’m glad I switched to a plant-based diet. In fact, I love it so much that now I serve falafel at this vegan-friendly Mediterranean restaurant. Here, try the Brother ganoush topping. It’s made of eggplants.”
